The cottage was clean, cozy, and conveniently located to Bennington and Mt. Snow about 30min away. Wonderful relaxing comfortable stay, I travel for business and the most important thing for me is a good night sleep, very comfortable bed, great night sleep, beautiful setting. I loved my weekend in Jodi's house! I actually stayed there the night before my wedding, while my then-fiance now-husband stayed at another AirBNB across town. As you might imagine, I was a bundle of nerves and excitement, but the babbling brook behind the house provided the perfect soundtrack to put me to sleep.
The house is also super open and spacious - much larger inside than it looks from the outside. I would definitely stay at Jodi's the next time we're in Williamstown! Jodi's house is warm, welcoming, and very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped for s couple who is spending a week in the beautiful setting of the Berkshires, walking distance from the college, and the perfect base for beautiful hikes, biking, and several stunning art museums.

It was a wonderful experience overall, and we'd love to visit the Berkshire county again and stay at Charmaine's place. Great little cabin with a ton of character. We used it as a home base for a music festival at Mass MoCA so didn't explore the surrounding area too much l but it was very beautiful. The history of the beautiful building is fascinating and it is super conveniently located. I arrived by bicycle as part of the Western New England Greenway trip. What a truly lovely restorative stay here. Such a peaceful quiet place, right near downtown Williamstown, and so close to all the treasures of the Berkshires. The home is well appointed among the trees, and the room is comfortable and the entire place spotlessly clean and lovely.
Helene was the consummate host-considerate, communicative and kind, respectful of privacy but also wonderful to talk with, very knowledgeable of the area, and willing to offer suggestions of places to visit and hike.
She directed me over to the Clark and I was so grateful she did! She also offered coffee and a breakfast as an unexpected treat! I will definitely be back-this was such a treasure to find! Great cottage place to stay, next to gurgling brook, 5 minutes from Williams College, Mt. Hope Farm, museums, Taconic golf. What a wonderfully located little gem! The cottage had all we needed, is truly adorable and located on a beautiful piece of property. We hope to return back! Jackie's place is very well located near Williamstown, Mass MOCA, and so much more and it was a charming, peaceful, and unusual place to stay.
The downstairs is a pottery studio and the bedrooms are upstairs with a shared bath. Everything is very new. Beds were very comfortable and the decor was charming: Hosts were very friendly. Beautiful pottery is for sale from Jackie's studio as a souvenir.
One piece of advice: I look forward to coming back This space is certainly such a hidden treasure nestled in such a serene scene. As an artist I appreciated every little beautiful creative touch throughout this Space.
Unfortunately as soon as we arrived we got a call that our daughter was ill and we could not stay however I was so sad to have to leave and can not wait to rebook to enjoy a long weekend stay and a pottery class!!! Jackie's place is beautiful and in a great location!

It was really a great weekend: Jackie was a superb host. She was in the studio and greeted us upon arrival, immediately making us feel welcome and at home. Jackie is genuine, friendly, and fun and we thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with her during our time in the guesthouse.
She seems a natural and intuitive host, balancing checking in just enough to make sure needs are being met and offering guests their freedom to enjoy their time on their beautiful property. The bed in our room was super comfortable, and coupled with the fresh air and comfortable, peaceful setting provided us with truly restful slumber.
The room was just the right size and equipped with everything we needed to spread out comfortably for our stay. We enjoy cooking on our travels and appreciated the shared kitchen, which was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials including some Vermont cheddar in the fridge! The nearby towns of Bennington and Williamstown were also fun to visit, each offering some nice options in coffee, restaurants, shops, groceries and the like. Catching an indie film at Images Cinema was fun and unexpected outing. We would love to stay here again. Loved staying in Jackie's guest house and only wished we had been able to stay longer.
It's a few miles off the highway and thus very quiet and pretty, but still close to Williamstown and Bennington. The amenities are basic, but done beautifully--simple wood furniture, simple furnishings, but a very comfy bed with reading lights! There was a bit of a traffic jam in the morning at the sole bathroom, but all of the guests were polite and took turns and quick showerswhich honestly gave me more time to drink tea out of one of Jackie's lovely mugs and peruse her table of wares downstairs All in all, I would love to come back for longer and hope I have the opportunity soon!
